HepCure is an innovative set of tools for hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment. Developed by a team of HCV experts at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City in collaboration with the New York State Department of Health and community health centers across the state. HepCure aims to improve provider knowledge for chronic disease management and increase patient engagement in persons with HCV infection.

The HepCure toolkit is designed to address barriers to providing effective care and treatment of HCV through web-based and smart device enabled resources for both patients and providers. The barriers to HCV care that can be overcome by using HepCure include access to quality care, increasing the capacity of primary care providers to treat patients with HCV infection, and appropriate choice of treatment regimens through decision support. HepCure has been developed by the Mount Sinai Division of Liver Diseases, Division of General Internal Medicine, and the Informatics for Research, Outcomes, and Quality Initiative in the Division of Gastroenterology.
