David E. Bernstein, MD is Vice Chair of Clinical Trials, Chief, Division of Hepatology, and Director of the Sandra Atlas Bass Center for Liver Disease for the Northwell Health System. He is a Professor of Medicine and Educational Science at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Dr. Bernstein’s main research interest has been in field of liver diseases, with most of his work concentrated on developing new treatments for chronic hepatitis C.
