On Tuesday, June 12th, Dr. Henry Chang of Actevis Consulting Group presented on: “Innovation as Usual: Sustainable Financing for Viral Hepatitis Elimination”
Henry is the Founder and President of Actevis Consulting Group, a global health consultancy company in Brooklyn, New York, and Managing Partner of Liver Health Investment Fund, a social impact investing fund designed to provide financing to advance the elimination of viral hepatitis and development of novel treatments for liver disease and liver cancer. He has previously held positions with Doctors of the World USA/Medecins du Monde, Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GBC), AHF Global Immunity, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF). He has served as advisor to organizations such as: USAID, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, Clinton Global Initiative, International Monetary Fund, World Bank, and World Health Organization. Henry presently serves on the boards of several non-profit and public health organizations, including Hep Free NYC, Womens In Hepatitis Africa, Save Your Liver Foundation Uganda, and Touch of Hope Foundation India. He also serves as Twitter Ambassador for the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL).
