On Tuesday, March 16th, Dr. Judith Tsui of UW Medicine presented on: “Hepatitis C and Alcohol”

Lecture Objectives:
1. Explain the epidemiology and course of hepatitis C (HCV).
2. Discuss how alcohol impacts the course of HCV.
3. Describe effective ways to manage HCV and alcohol use.

Presenter Bio:
Dr. Judith Tsui is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington. She received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and medical degree from NYU. She completed residency training at Oregon Health Sciences University, obtained an MPH in epidemiology at Emory University, and a research fellowship at UCSF. She is an internist who is also certified in Addiction Medicine. Disclosures: Co-investigator of a PCORI-funded study for which Gilead provided medication and funding for pharmacy dispensing. Recipient of a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from NIH/NIDA in partnership with a health technology company (emocha).
