On Tuesday, March 19th, Dr. Paul Gaglio of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons presented on: “Controversies in HCV Therapy”
Dr. Gaglio is Professor of Medicine at the Columbia University Medical Center, and the director of Hepatology Outreach. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) and completed his residency in internal medicine at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NY. His research interests include: the therapy of viral hepatitis, liver failure, and fatty liver disease. He is a member of multiple professional organizations, such as the New York Consortium for Liver Transplantation for which he has sat on the Board of Directors and president of the Board. Dr. Gaglio received the Surgical Housestaff Teaching Award from Tulane University in 2001. He has been consistently listed in such compendia as Best Doctors in America, Castle Connelly Top Doctors in New York, and Who’s Who in America.
